Don't ask why, but I'm watching kiddy cartoons right now. And I'm concerned what the hell they're teaching the future generation of kids. In this movie called "Scary godmother: The revenge of Jimmy" these kids are a bunch of friggin drama queens. The bad guy/kid obviously is Jimmy. Who is attempting to ruin a halloween party. And everytime he thinks he suceeds (as well as the other kids) halloween is taken off the calender and they start crying. Now, the characters being kids, I could understand a ruined party causing them to cry. But how their party is "ruined" is just dumb. Jimmy toilet papered the haunted house that they were going to use for the party, so they got upset and said that halloween was over. I mean whoopty friggin do. A little toilet paper on a house you don't own, is no reason to cancel a friggin party and act like the president got shot. This is going to create a generation of kids that are a bunch of drama queens.
Now you may think that I'm over reading this. Well here is why I even brought it up in the first place. I have a neice who is in second grade and she watches cartoons as much as any other kid. I've noticed that lately, she acts out what she sees more and more. I also did this as a kid. Everytime I saw a power ranger show, I had to go run around the yard with a stick and swing it around like a sword and do stupid karate moves. The TV shows I watched never had stupid stuff like that in it though. But now I'm curious. I know, because it's been scientifically proven, that not all kids have the same childhood or even watch the same things for that matter. So I'm wondering how many of you out there have seen shows like the one I talked about during your childhood?
