Hey I still have this thing.
Where did November go? I swear I put it around here somewhere. *looks under wrapping paper and mismatched bows* Heck. I know it was just here somewhere. At any rate I have a buddy that has LJ as well and thought it might be best to make an update. *blows off the dust bunnies, watching them squeal at me and grab words before scurrying off.* Nasty little buggers.
At any rate, what’s new? Well not much really other than it is frickin’ freezing outside. It’s 5 as I write this. Yep 5 degrees Celsius. We have a bout 4 inches of snow, but since it’s so cold it’s just powder. Still makes for slipperiness.
At work they seem to be going out of there way to accommodate me. Making concessions so folks can easily come and look at my decorations. See to me, I’m not really feeling it this year, and I haven’t done that much. But I guess my least is still more than what most would do. Also I was recommended to become an officer of our local “keep um happy by throwing parties and the like” group up at work. Which I have no interest in doing because I generally don’t like my co-workers and avoid them when ever possible. But I was told, your reputation precedes you. Whatever, I suppose it would make me look good.
Also along those lines, a guy at work that I avoid, I hated working with he would tease me endlessly about getting him something like a snake. Jokingly attempt to kid around with me, is dead. Just up and died. It is quite shocking, as just last week he was asking me if I would bring him lunch. *shakes head* But then again the age range at my work place is primarily 50 and up. I think the youngest person in the office is like 26? The oldest is 71. Yep. Little old grandmother with her hearing aid and every time I see here I think, why aren’t you at home curled under a blanket and watching soaps?
This year they started a new policy that they would give out a bonus at the end of the year if you got high marks as apposed to doing it throughout the year. Well I have been awarded throughout the year, cuz I am that good, and wasn’t expecting anything much at the end of the year. Maybe a paid day off or something. I received 4 days and a cash bonus. I’m not gonna brag because it’s unbecoming, and I don’t mean to sound unappreciative. However, did they forget that they already did this for me? I mean I think it’s too much. I’m just doing my job here, but I suppose they think I’m doing it very well. (Happy Net-book and PS3 to me)
Frosty is still doing his thing. It’s getting close to the time when his certs are due and we are trying to find a way to keep them up as he is stuck in a “not in the field, but hey it’s a job” job. He hates it there, and they are doing everything in their power to push him out, but He’s sticking through it, and trying again for the firefighters this spring. He is also still working in the new wrestling gang and is a regular as 2 different fellas. Part of the “horror squad (Voorhees)” and “rednecks (as a lovable bubba type)”. He enjoys it and I enjoy it when he comes home with black coal makeup around his eyes after a match. grrr baby. Very grrr. (Though take a shower first you smell like fan boys.)
He is also working on some art commissions again. Just finished another picture of Jade (My FWA character) because he liked the pose. And still has some outstanding sequence art on the table. Plus he said he would make my tat for me. I think it’s a cool idea, but I don’t know if I’ll go through with it. See in my mind it is wickedly awesome. But on the flesh I have to wonder. ~shrugs~
He is also losing weight because of all the cardio he does in his job and such. He’s bummed to be 270 now. He says I must be big and burly for you, but I don’t think he gets that I don’t care if he’s beefy, as long as he’s healthy. You know? We have gotten a gym membership and I’m lovin’ it! It would be nice if we could afford it year round. I was looking forward to the burn of exercise. Sorry, we were talking about Frosty. He has always loved working out and the place across the way has a kid place, so BB can go and play while we work.

As for BB, she’s reading and writing now. She spent the batter part of an hour yesterday writing a note to the jolly fat man. She didn’t ask for anything, just asked him to come by because we have milk and cookies. Such a sweet heart! She still has trouble sleeping. I wish I could help her.
In her karate class she earned her yellow ribbon which means she understands the concepts of karate. Her class ends in December and January we hope to get her into Ninjutsu if we can swing it. That will be better because Ninjutsu is wicked cool, and she should live up to the name (though Jade is Chinese thing and Ninja’s are Japanese) and it’s a good skill, it will be 3 days a week as an apposed to 1, it will be nice to get back into it myself and yeah I’ll shut up now.
She should also be starting school this winter, but I am still up in the air about homeschooling her through the offered guidelines, or letting her go to a school. (Which is a plague inducing glorified babysitter as they don’t teach kids anything anymore.) Though we live in a ritzy neighborhood hood now and the schooling should be better. I don’t know, help? Plus I have no clue where to begin! It’s not like they have come to me and said, hey, you have a kid, let me tell you what you can do about their education. I don’t even know what school she’ll go to!
So through what I have done at home she reads, writes, knows addition subtraction and the noble gasses. (They are in a story I tell her of the kings and queens of all the elements.) And I suspect she’s catch onto the square root song I sing to her at night. It will click for here I’m sure.
Ok, the caffeine in this energy drink is really starting to kick in now. *shakes, and takes another drink. Her pupils dilate and she growls a bit.*
I have all but abandoned my other chat room and apparently have been missed. But well, they just don’t hold any interest for me anymore. I went back to the furries/therians and these are my people. I don’t know why I strayed. I have been so inspired to get back into my clay (see DA and FA for that) I am working now on “Azure’s missed snow day.” I’ll show it soon.
Anywho, I’ve babbled long enough. Back to work for me. *Whips out thigh master and works on making files.* Have a day!
