In review:
I find myself several times a day composing a LJ entry, but never getting around to posting it. So Here I am, summing it up.
Mom's visits always seem to have something Chaotic happen. So while she was here, and it was a nice visit. She left yesterday, and time sped up with us. After dropping her off at the airport we went for supper, and a movie. When we got home is when things happened.
Baby bear was up about an hour after her bedtime. But I had to wash her because we let her play at a playground (That was dirty, dirty) for about an hour while waiting for the movie to start. Before we had left, I had started a load of clothes. (I wasn’t really expecting to be away that long). And the sheets were off of her bed. H upstairs, I am with a cranky/sleepy child. First I check on the cloths. I find that the laundry soap has leaked all over the shelf and dripped into the washer. I freak out trying to clean that up, with crying BB. Then I go to clean her, and rush to put sheets on the bed, and get her to sleep.
Meanwhile downstairs, in a attempt to sooth the dog from being in the house all day Frosty was playing with Zook with his new toy. While throwing it across the room, it knocks into a potted plant which spills over knocking over a glass of tea by the sink leaving a muddy mess on the floor. And He had gone to take out the trash and I had earlier pulled a weed out of the planter upstairs. The weed had left dirt all down the stairs. So Frosty was busy cleaning that up.
Wow. Noting bad, just a lot of stuff at the same time with cranky child and upset dog.
Anyway, while here Frosty and I got to see a Haunted house. We went to 13 Manor and Primal Fear. For anyone reading this, don’t bother with the 13th Manor. But Primal Fear was pretty darn awesome.
We got to see Babylon AD, and Igor. Blah to both. Babylon was a flop, because it was an action/SCIFI flick, and the last 10 minutes because a Romance/Girly Flick. They built up the action; you expected to see an action type ending. and left feeling like you watched a movie, but it had no ending. Where was the rest of the movie? The ending was a major WTF? I love Vin movies, but WFT? Dude please, read the script before you sign up for a movie. Igor was nothing special. Sure it had its funny points, and the “aaaww” moment at the end. But nothing to add to anyone’s collection. Not ours anyway.
But now that mom’s gone, I’m off to decorate for HALLOWEEN! Yeah!!! There is nothing in the HOA about Decorating for Halloween. (I’m sure this year will make them change their minds.) @Evil Laugh@
