Thoughts
Lately I have been watching a lot of Dexter. And loving it. Much. I can identify with the character. No, I don't kill people. (...) No I don't plan to start, but the character itself I understand. Frosty surprised my by saying out loud one night, "If it weren't for the missing Y chromosome that would be you." (that tickled me.) Anywho, upon buying the full season one for myself as an early Mom's day, and watching it all week; season one has gone through a breakthrough with Dexter and his past.
It just got me to thinking about my past, and why I do a lot of similar things. Like shut people off, not care, and generally remain emotionless to others anyway. Seeing what he went through got me to thinking about my own closed memories. And like Dexter, I want them to remain hidden.

Anyway, we still haven't heard anything about the house. We are still waiting on the bank to get back to us if they approve with our bid. ~sighs~ THis is week 2 of waiting.
But on the other hand we won last year's balcony contest and get $100.00 off our next month's rent. (The contest was in December, and they are telling us now) {Rather convenient seeing as how we just turned in our 30 day notice and said we'd go month to month meaning we have to pay $100.00 over our normal rent.} But good, that will give us another month's rent at our normal price.
Today at work, was hell, and I don't want to go into it all. I'll just say, that on the plus side they celebrated Earthday today and had a whole bunch of Earth friendly stuffs. I entered the drawing and won some tickets for a trolley here in downtown Denver. Not really my bag, but The family might like it.
Speaking of which, my folks are coming for a visit. With there two bulldogs. And the two crates, and wanting to stay here. Which is half-packed and in boxes. With there two bulldogs. And Zookie (Our puppy who has never met said bulldogs) wanting to stay here. With us. Should be fun. Can't wait...
