Oops...
So it occurs to me that most of you Chattanooga-ites are unaware as to the cause of my absence for the last week. Well I was in New Orleans visiting my dad and his family. The whole week basically went as follows:
-Hanging around Grandma's house watching professional poker on tv
-Arguing about politics (Apparently I'm "very opinionated." In Morris-speak that translates to "wrong.")
-Going to see Dodgeball and Anchorman and laughing my ass off at both
-Going to Six Flags New Orleans with people I don't know (and some I do)
-Avoiding any mention of the boating accident that warranted this visit
As to the accident, apparently my dad, aunt, uncle, and cousin hit another boat pulling into a canal. Only my dad was hurt in their boat (and not very badly. He just flew out and hit a big pole sticking up out of the other boat, breaking it off and bruising the hell out of his chest.) Unfortunately the driver of the other boat and one of his sons were killed. Really puts a damper on the vacation.
Anyway I'm back now, with loads of free time. School starts the 18th and I can't freaking wait.
