So, I was upset b/c i thought my weekend was gonna suck. lacey was going to her boyfriendsa nd i was gonne be bored the entire weekend..
Well, it didn’t suck and i wasn't bored! lol… Ok so Jordan’s parents were up here for his “Sounds of the Season” concert thing, and so they went out to eat and such. And then we were talking when he got back and we were like “what are we going to do?” and well there was nothing to do. And I was like ya know Jordan, we should’ve thought ahead and went home w/ your parents and came back up with mine. (cuz mine were planning on coming up on Sunday to go shopping, dinner and to look at Christmas lights anyway) and so somewhere in all of that he called his parents and they were only like 20 minutes away and so they turned around and came and got he and I at like midnight. So we got home at like 2:30 and I got to spend the weekend in my own house!
So I slept in on Saturday until like 1, which I didn’t go to bed until 4 so it wasn’t really sleeping in. I got up and took a shower and all that nonsense and then my Dad’s cousin Greg was supposed to be coming w/ his wife and daughter because they had a Christmas party for her side of the family near where we live. (they are from Hannibal mo. area) and so we waited for them and I burnt my parents a couple CD’s of some music that I thought they’d like. And so then my mom was making dinner and I was making cookies and my dad was building a fire in the fire place and we were listening to music. And singing together and the Christmas tree was up and the house (remember, it’s our first Christmas in the new house) was so cute and holiday like. I don’t know. It was just so nice to just be together, I wish my brother could’ve been there. If he were, it’d have been the perfect moment, one of those you could live in forever. Which it was almost perfect and I really enjoyed it.
And then after dinner I went in town for awhile and hung out @ Todd & Amy’s, which was fun like always. And yeah went home, hung out for a while w/ my family and then they went to bed and so I watched tv and did some homework until like 4am and then I went to bed and got up at like 9 and then we left around 10 to get Jordan and then come back up here to school, and we got here around 1ish and then we went shopping and to dinner and then to look at Christmas lights. My parents left around 8ish and then yeah I took a nap and waited for Lacey to come back. So yeah.., it was a great weekend! And only 8 days until I get to go home for Christmas!!!! Its’ supposed to snow AGAIN on Wednesday, blah and finals are on Friday and then next Monday and Tuesday…. That’s gonna suck! Ne way, you readers have a good one! Lol
