We should all just keep pretending that our dreams are patent pending

It's been a good weekend, especially since I only have 2 "real" weeks of school left. Our last day of class is one month from tomorrow! It seems crazy sometimes. I'm definitely ready to be done, though.

Went rollerblading today in the sun and realized how out of shape I am. This one night of swimming a week doesn't seem to be doing it for me. Also studied for AP tests (fun, right?), saw lots of boys swim team drama, ate at wendy's, got ice cream with sidra and tyler (still can't believe that he's driving) and started reading Life of Pi. That book is amazing so far. I don't know why it's taken this long for me to start reading it. Anyone have other suggestions for stellar books? I want to read like crazy this summer at work, when I'm not yelling at little kids or flying kites around the pool. My job rocks. :)

Prom is in 2 weeks, and I think we're going to have a hella (yes, I still use that word) fun time, even if I don't have a date. I'm determined. Boys are dumb, anyway. Actually, most girls are too. I just need to find the good ones. And I'm so ready for this summer - for work, for going to santa fe with friends, for going to san fran with my mom and katy and her mom, for sun, for running through sprinklers, for getting ready for college. For lots of things.

AND I get to go to the hockey game tomorrow!!! SWEET! I miss my hockey.

Awesome thought of the day - from Jason Mraz, on people smelling bad on airplanes: "...I’m sure I let off my own fair share of bothersome smells. I live in my own clothes, which makes me immune to them. I wouldn’t know if someone can smell under my hat from all the way over there, but with the air-con pointed
directly on it, driving the aroma through the fabric and over my scalp, reflecting it off of the in flight magazine’s waxed pages, I’m sure it’s possible.A hat is basically like a sock that never gets washed, but on your head. If I were sitting in first class, however, I wouldn’t mind what I smell like. Most of those spoiled idiots up there need a good scent of the common folk every now and then."

You tell them, my friend.
