Job Search Oddity

I'm looking for jobs again, and I came across this job for a paralegal/legal assistant on Craigslist in Brooklyn. The ad is pretty clear that they want someone with experience, and doesn't list the name of the firm you're applying for. Pretty standard stuff really. However, the guy writing it kind of seems like a hardass. He wants a cover letter that is no more than 3 paragraphs long and outlines exactly what he wants in each paragraph. He wants professional references and explanations for why he can't call employers who aren't listed. He also wants a full employment history and a one page resume. Completing the application correctly is also a test of your ability as an employee. Oh, and as a final note, he wanted this:

"4. The subject line of reply email must contain only the following: the last name of the judge who agreed with us that PricewaterhouseCooper LLP's definition of normal retirement "age" as the date on which an employee completes 5 years of work for the Firm regardless of age, is invalid."

I remind you, no other information about the firm is present on the ad.

Are you fucking kidding me? Congratulations, you just convinced all of the sane applicants out there that you're completely batshit crazy and that you'd be a terrible boss to work for. Sure, I could probably look it up on Westlaw, but lots of applicants don't have that and its just a sign this guy wants to fuck with you before he hires you.

In other news, I hate searching for jobs.
