Wow. This is seriously lovely. I really like your perspective of John here; this is probably the side of him that his sons would be unlikely to see, the reality of his love unsaid.

This actually brought tears into my eyes. I like that you portrayed John as the father I always see him. A passionate father who wants the best for his children and loves them to death. He made some big mistakes, but oh man, he loved those boys and tried his best.

I miss John, man....T_T
