I came home few days ago. Our little tadpole who had some medical problems came home yesterday. Between her and the Big Bang, this journal won't be as entertaining (not that it was a laughfest in the first place).
My artist is thruterryseyes, and judging from her work, my lucky streak with artists continues! :)
True Night is going to be my first story which is RPF and not au. This is a great deal harder than it looks, much to my chagrin. It's semi-apocalypse ... with a happy but measured ending. No, not being mysterious there. At all.
So, here is the synopsis:
Jared and Jensen take a road trip to Seattle only to witness what looks like the Apocalypse exploding across the city. They manage to escape to an island only to discover the situation on Santos to be worse than in Seattle. But they cannot leave, as the infected roam freely on land and the military had set up blockades around the island. Faced with immeasurable horror and growing desperation Jared and Jensen plan an escape, not only to save themselves but the sick who are quickly turning into homicidal psychopaths.
I am due to post at August 10th, which thank the good Lord, because as you can imagine I'll need all the time I can get to plow through the opus!
So glad I saved that icon 'cause it's apropos in more than one way.
