I'd have used original, 1960's cybermen? They clearly had problems with finding androids.

Anne Francis was only 26 when she made Forbidden Planet, which just happens to be one of my very favorite movies. :) I even put it on my iPhone. lol And I so enjoyed the clip from Night of the Demon. Hardly anyone here in the US knows that one, but I have always loved it.

I loved it too, design wise, it was different to anything else I'd seen.
And I don't think I'd read or seen The Tempest when I first saw it (Saturday afternoon matinee before the wrestling? Some time in the 70's? Seems likely, doesn't it).
Night of the Demon hold up surprisingly well. Though Quatermass and the Pit was the B&W film which scared me most.
