Not the best of days.

Public transport is going to turn me into a child-killer.

I don't like children very much - under a certain age, they become unbearable. I am aware that this doesn't make me the best of people, and that many people think I need an attitude-change. I don't care - I don't like children, so I try to keep away from them. Easier on everyone.

Today, on the bus home, my patience nearly snapped. I was this close to turning around and screaming at them. There was this father and his son - the boy could've been, what, three years old? - a couple of seats behind me. The kid obviously wasn't very happy; he was crying when I got on the bus. Now, I can handle that - sometimes kids aren't happy and they're going to cry. I had headphones and Foo Fighters blaring, so I though I'd manage.

I was wrong. Throughout that half-hour bus-ride, the brat didn't cry. He couldn't possibly be sad; those weren't sad-little-child-screams. They were the-howling-of-the-undead-screams. Seriously, I thought the boy would scream until a lung burst, and once he'd finished one scream, he'd just take a deep breath and start another one.

I don't like kids, but this was just too much. I'm a lucky, lucky woman in that they got off on the stop before mine, or I would've strangled someone.

In other news, I've got tomorrow basically free (two lessons, third lesson is movie-watching, which means I have fuck-all to do tomorrow), so that's good.

We had an English-test today - a national one, don't really know the name of them in English. Only the first part, Writing, which is basically essay-writing on one of two chosen titles. The topic? Advertisment. Boooooooooriiiiiing....... We had 100 minutes to do it in; I did it in 45, and only left after asking for more paper because my five pages ran out.

What more, what more....? Oh, yes, that's right - does anyone know a good (legal) way of earning 44 000 Swedish crowns ($6300, more or less) in-between now and June? Any and all suggestions are welcome - we're finding it hard to finance our anime-convention. There's donations and contributions from our local-level politicians, but that'll only get us a fraction of what we need to rent the school. My ideas so far has been yard-sales and selling T-shirts with some kind of print on them; since this is very much country-side level stuff, I don't really know what else to do.

I've set my May-goal on the AF-boards! It's going to be 35k - since it's now May 3rd, I've already written 3000 words, so I've made some headway. My original AF-goal for April was 15k, but since I ended the month at 53k, I decided I needed to challenge myself a little more.
