This is seriously the same shite you guys have listened to over and over. Sometimes I just need to get it out of myself so I can look at it physically on the page. Feel free not to read it.
As friends, we want to listen and support you in all of your struggles. We see your unyielding passion, flourishing talent, and growing dissatisfaction with what you DO have.
Even though these are precisely what journals are for, when in the eyes of the public, you truly have to question the deep seeded origin behind writing entries like this.
Wallowing in self-pity. Seeking others to shower you with the same? Reiterating the 'daily barrage of questions' to verbally confirm your undeniable potential? Never letting anyone forget (including yourself) that you're a unique, endlessly desirable gem stuck in the rough better known as Savannah.
When in actuality, your persistence is focused on the hype built up around you, and not really YOU. Socially and creatively you are no more than a tease - most of the time. I have only seen these walls come down when you are either alone or drunk. Very drunk.
You've built this bubble, a self contained fantasy world about who you'd like to be. You HONESTLY DO have the potential to do incredible things in whatever field you'd like, but please.. start looking at you're current standing in a more realistic manner:
If you stay in school, focus every last second on what can be usefully after you graduate. You're a great box dancer and I'm sure tips help, but in the long run.. where does it get you? You want to model? in New York? Well, anythings possible, but the ideal model is 5'11, 105lbs and 16. Your face is very pretty, but since you can't change your age or height you better work damn hard to get you're body into perfect condition.
You are famous in the minds of your friends, but if fame is truly what you're after, stop complaining and start doing. Stop regretting and make use out of all the things you really do have... And for Christ's sake, stop talking about how much you love your friends while you quarantine yourself for weeks on end.
Once you stop desperately feeding off of the attention of others and pushing yourself through your work, people will notice you without you saying a word.
