extra pointless
I should have gone to sleep like an hour ago, but I ended up reading the Silent Hill pages on TVTropes instead. wooow I can never escape that site.
But man, do I love Silent Hill. Or at least Silent Hill 2-4. Whenever I read about them or spend time during my day looking stuff up about them, I fall in love all over again. It bums me out that the original team behind them is gone, so there will probably not be anything quite like them ever again, but at the same time, these three games are so wonderful and terrible and timelessly beautiful that I don't feel too sad.
