(no subject)

I've met some unexpected resistance in the form of my father. While he's always encouraged me to play tennis (for the leadership skills mostly), he's not too keen about another tennis camp. He's afraid that it'll distract me from what's important, which to him, is to become the high-capable and perfect heir for all of the Atobe family business.

I suggested looking into highering an outside tutor (I know the camp will be providing them for our normal studies, but Father is wanting me to learn more business oriented subject matter as well) to aid in my study. I'll be completely swamped with activity that way, but it's better than missing the opportunity the camp is offering me.

My mother has gotten the idea that she should inspect the camp's staff to insure they are worthy of "serving" me. I've been trying to shoot her down for days, but I may wind up with a posse of helpers to make sure all my "needs" are attended too. I can make my own bed, Mother, I just never feel like it.

Regardless of these complications, I will be attending. So will my regulars, if they know what's good for them.
