Sup everyone?
As the new year rolls along, March is getting closer, and I'm actually planning on going to FWA. First off, if you didn't read my other posts on Inkbunny, I'll be going along solo. I really want to check out a new con as well as chilling out without worry. Think of it like my own personal celebration for enduring the unemployment period and having a full year of resort work under my belt.
Moving along, I really want to check out all of the hot spots and events going on over there. What restaurants do they have other than fast food and Denny's? What are some awesome/traditional panels and events that take place? Like MFF has "The Fursuit Variety Show," FC is "Furry Night Live," Anthrocon always have the big fursuit pile in the hotel on the night of closing ceremonies. Things like that. What are some awesome places outside the hotel to take cool fursuit pictures? If anyone can help me out or show me around the con, that will be awesome.
Although, I did have some furs I know said that FWA is kinda 'meh.' But a good fellow fur of mine always go to it each and every year since I've known him. It's like his go-to con that he must attend. So I want to see why it's to "meh" as other claimed. To me, I think it's an underrated con since it's the home to DragonCon too. But we shall see when March comes around. Til then, I'll be keeping up to date here, Inkbunny and on Weasyl as best as I can.
Speaking of which, everything is coming along fine in my current situation. I'm actually loving the added features at work as well as getting employee of the month in November. What I didn't know was that the news spread like wildfire through December. I guess it's the fact that I've only worked during my first year and have two big accomplishments. Granted, I'm just doing my job and not 'favors' either. Another added bonus, I've finally got my Fire and Ice pendant.
That gem is basically the representation of me and who I am. No way will I never part with it. But now I need to find a proper leather/silver necklace big enough to wear for my fursuit. =^_^;=
