So. I am, unfortunately enough, NOT chained to someone else in the middle of nowhere. I'm sure everyone wishes they were handcuffed to me, but ALAS. It was not to be. Don't cry for me Argentina.

Anyway.

I was watching this series the other day maybepossibly because I was actually INTERESTED in someone else's fandom! and there was a 1940s episode in there somewhere that made me really nostalgic for big band music (among other things). And... I may have gotten a little carried away in my downloading. Hahahahahaaaaa? OLDIES ARE GOOD, OKAY.

And of course now I've gotta share. Partially because all you young things (coughcough) don't know how bad you've got it. (Musically, anyway.) (...Today is a very strikeouts-and-parentheses day night. :|)

So without any further ado:

We'll Meet Again - Vera Lynn, 1939
A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square - Vera Lynn, 1940
(There'll Be Bluebirds Over) The White Cliffs of Dover - Vera Lynn, 1940
Only You - The Platters, 1955
Why Do Fools Fall In Love - Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, 1956
I Wonder Why - Dion & The Belmonts, 1958
Dancing Cheek To Cheek - Frank Sinatra, 1958
I Only Have Eyes For You - The Flamingos, 1959
Beyond the Sea - Bobby Darin, 1960
A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square - Bobby Darin, 1962
I Only Have Eyes For You - Frank Sinatra, 1962
Fly Me to the Moon - Frank Sinatra, 1964
Moon River - Frank Sinatra, 1964
My Girl - The Temptations, 1965
Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You - Frankie Valli, 1967
