I'd read a sequel and hope the editor tells her to answer the questions from the first book.

I would read a sequel too. Especially it's has some chapters from Jeff's POV and has some of his memories from childhood, 1982/83, his trial, what he said to that prisoner and guards, just to answer questions but also be balanced with some mystery. I don't want it to reveal too much. Some of it has to be cryptic. I think some of the draw is that he didn't reveal everything and we were left guessing.

It would be a great novel with an unreliable narrator.
