laugh all you can, evil people!!

still in office. stuck with some UAT (User Acceptance Test). need to finish write up. cant finish. have to bring back work home to do. instead of lugging the whole bulky IBM lappie back, i tot maybe can just winzip the whole database and bring back home to do. i even drag a copy of the winzip program file onto the ( Read more... )

i have ms office in my mac. but file in office too big, had to compressed it ie. winzip it up. but wondering if i can open the winzip database in mac.

ZIP is such a common compression format. i dun think mac is that silly or stupid not to include a utility to uncompress ZIP files.

if dun have, then really silly lor.

zip is a pretty standard format for compression and its always been on unix platforms. OSX is unix ... so, its always had one. :)

Zip is the default archival format on OSX since they slapped it into the GUI a coupa of revisions back
