Am I that wanted?
So I get a call this morning and guess who it is?? Yet another PD looking for an LET. This time around I actually asked her what the job specifically entails, unlike the first one. This position is what I actually took the test for (unknowingly), sitting at the front desk behind the bullet proof glass taking the calls that come in from either people asking for info to actual 911 calls. Then she went on about what you'd move up to after being there for a while... and it's either fleet management (making sure the cars are all in good order... what is it with me and CARS??) or office supply management, basically making sure we have enough supplies and being the person others go through in order to get them.
So I really don't know about all this... yeah it's all "Entry Level"... and that's what I've come to expect with these job offers, but at the same time... it's not where I truly want to be. Even this last lady said that if it's something that I'm not truly intersted in, then there's no problem with declining the offers. So I'll probably continue hearing them out until I finally find something that intersests me...
Today's another fine day off of work... Not too sure what I want to do today, but I do know that tonight Annie, myself, and I think Robin are going to celebrate a birthday over at Bobby McGee's. I haven't been there since my grandpa's birthday about 7-8 years ago, and that was the time when Elvis seemingly paceplanted into my grandfather's cake, but it was all a trick (and a very good one at that). I'm probably going to end up cleaning up a little bit today too... so we'll see what ends up happening!!
