So another Christmas has come and gone, and now comes that post where we are each entitled to gloat a bit, and then thank those who made this holiday special!
Christmas was sort of a mixed bag of treats this year. Me and the wife went over to my parent's house first thing in the morning to get some presents out of the way. And then it was off to my grandparent's house for our traditional breakfast and present unwrapping ceremonies. Sadly, after that fun time, it was off to work for me, a joyful 8-hours of nothing but inane phone calls and people just being generally dumb in the city. What else am I to expect on Christmas day? Anywho, after that I was able to head to my nearby Aunt's house for one more gift-unwrapping deal, where they were fortunate enough to have breakfast for Christmas dinner!
All-in-all, it was a good holiday for me, people enjoyed the gifts that I got them, and I was more than happy with the stuff that I got! Here's my haul:
>Mini bottles of Redrum, Agavero, and Absinthe!
>A bottle of lambrusco
>A new transparent cocktail shaker
>$50 in Dave & Busters cards
>$25 to Olive Garden
>$20 to a diner in uptown
>$20 to Target
>$25 to Ruby's Diner
>$20 to Chili's
>$25 to Staples
>a sleeping bag
>a survival backpack with 72 hours of food/water
>a new flannel shirt
>$200 in cold hard cash
>a storage bin for Frost: The Fursuit
>a 23" inch widescreen monitor for my PC.
Not a bad haul... not a bad haul, indeed.
