Back from BrumCon 2*
I got back a while ago from my weekend visit to
colifox and
badgerguy's housewarming party/Fursuiting event, and wow... I had a wonderful time in the presence of friends both new and old and getting the chance to see those who I hadn't seen in months.
I want to thank Colifox and Badgerguy for their wonderful hospitality and for inviting me in the first place :). I want to thank
yagfox for making the Saturday night dance much more effective by rigging up some lighting (which I was told used only approx. 20% of his collection), to
ember_komodog for having the balls to actually take the microphone and giving us a wonderful and highly amusing rendition of The Darkness' "I Believe in a thing called Love" (which I do believe was recorded by Colifox ;)) on Singstar. And for everyone who attended for just making the weekend what it was.
The Saturday fursuiting was just as wonderful although rain towards the end cut whatever time we had left short, although to my knowledge we were just about finished as the rain came down anyway :). Also as it was my first time fullsuiting I was certainly feeling the difference, by the end of it all I was finding myself exhausted and fursuits are quite heavy when they're wet. Photos and video of the event will be linked to as and when they appear. Our special guest
hawthorn was a delight to meet and to talk to during the weekend and I wish him a safe journey home when he returns to Germany on Thursday :).
As part of the event Colifox drew up a badge for each and every one of us which sadly he didn't get to finish them off in time for practical use but even so, they were a very thoughtful gift. Mine of which can be seen below:

All in all it was a very nice weekend away in the company of friends and others and I do hope that a similar event is planned in the future.
