Challenge 12 for tvrealm AU TV Series
The challenge was to create an AU version of a TV series. I decided to take CSI and turn it into a space series. :) (Which I would watch the hell out of)
On the SS Evidentia, Captain Gil Grissom and his crew travel the known universe as a crime solving team for the Planetary Council. When a crime happens, and they’re in the area the Council CSI’s go to the planet, process the scene, and talk to witnesses. In order to do this successfully, Grissom’s crack team consists of First Officer Catherine Willows, who specializes in blood spatter, translation and alien relations. Lieutenant Nick Stokes, specializes in scene recreation, hair and fiber analysis. Lieutenant Warrick Brown specializes in DNA collection and analysis. He also helps with scene recreation and evidence collection.
Doctor Al Robbins, is the ship’s physician and medical examiner. He keeps the crew of the Evidentia healthy and helps to determine a cause of death in the victims. Admiral Jim Brass stays on board the Evidentia and acts as the liason to any local law enforcement on the various planets they investigate on.
When a crime is called in, the CSI’s investigate, piece together what happened, and help to punish the guilty party in whatever form the law takes on a particular planet. In general, the Council must be present for the punishment to be carried out. The work can be dangerous, depending on the crime and events surrounding it. The Evidentia’s crew has all been shot at and has learned they must carry weapons. It is a dangerous, but rewarding job for Grissom and his crew.
