This weekend although highly uneventful, was thoroughly amazing. It all started thursday afternoon. I had the worst craving for hot chocolate, and Amanda had one for chocolate ice cream with raspberries. That started the afternoon off well. I got home did some cleaning, then proceeded to get ready for the format show. That is where my adventure begain...
Brooke picked me up at 430, so we would make her piano lesson on time. Her three little brothers and mom were there too, and that was good, because I don't see them much anymore. I had a great chat with parker (4 yrs.) we talked about christmas, and trains, cheeseburgers etc. . It's nice to talk to little kids because they really are very pure. I love it, they make it seem like the worlds not so bad after all. So we get to the piano lesson, and I sat on this little couch with a dog named stevie(i think) he was a very friendly little guy. So once brookes piano lesson was done, it was time to go to the show. Let me tell you, i was excited. Second format show in one week.
Hmm. We get down to tempe, and tayleeeer calls us and tells us that the Arboretum is not where ticket master told us it was. I was like 'Oh yeah, i know' and got off the phone, then i got a call from amanda who said the same thing. and THEN brooke and I got completely and utterly lost in tempe. It was funny, because I was getting motion sickness (like always) and that makes me a little unpleasent to spend time with ( to say the least) and brooke was about to have a 'panic attack' so im like lets ask this guy if he knows where this place is, and he didnt, so he called his roommate, and took the tickets out of my hands, and that freaked me out, so we got the tickets back and continued on our journey. WELL thank god for my brother, because we would have never found the place without him.
So we get there, and blah blah bands start, and at first we are all at the very back, where fyi you can't see a thing. So we smooshed our ways up to as close to the front as we could get, in the process being rubbed by strangers. It was all very funny. anyways, the format was AMAZING and i'm a happy camper for now.
Amanda,Brooke,Tayleeer, and Cody, are the greatest friends, I can be a really difficult person to put up with, and they all manage to do it on a daily basis. I love them all.
Also, if your name is laura davenport, and you stumble upon this here entry by some random twist of fate, *which by the way is very possible...* Thanks for sticking with me through all these years!
