Brandeis held its fabulous drag show tonight. It's the second year that we've put it on and this year was so much more impressive. Where as last year we had about five kids perform about four acts, tonight we had to turn acts down and people away from the door because of how popular it became. I wasn't supposed to actually perform in the show, but agreed to fill in as of yesterday.
Nina, Kate, Megan, and I perform "King of New York" for Newsies. I, being the biggest and tallest, was Denton, the reporter and more importantly the King of New York. For not having ever actually rehearsed it or knowing the lyrics very well, we got a good response. I am really proud of myself and am still beaming from the event.
The other acts were amazing. Ray and Peter did "Magic Stick" by 50Cent/Li'l Kim. They were adorable.
