I've been back for a day.
It hasn't been so bad in all honesty.

The flight was good.
There were five stereotypical queers on the plane.
Two of them sat in front of me and attempted conversation, but I was in my "I-don't-want-to-leave-Boston-fuck-OH" phase (not that I've left that yet or anything) and not in the mood.
We were served "Save the Whales" crackers that were cheap Goldfish knock-offs.
And the old man next to me talked to me about his son who graduated in the 70s from Brandeis with a PhD in Judaic Studies, I believe.

Father has yet to know about my hair or tattoo.
I would just rather not fight about it, so I'm keeping both hidden at the moment.
Thankfully it's wicked cold in this house (62 degrees) and I can use a long sleeved shirt and hat as an okay coverup.

I've been out w. some friends and it wasn't so bad.
I've realized how Midwestern everyone I know is from the slight accent to the things they know about.
Timothy and I discussed a little gender theory over dinner.
It's safe to say the people next to us were quite amused and stared at me the entire time.

I'm going clubbing on Wednesday.
Apparently, Cleveland has an amazing drag king show.
This chick I hardly know invited me to go w. her and some friends.
We'll see if I've got the balls to show or not.

Most importantly: I've found emo glasses. :) They're actually reading glasses, so I have to pop the lens out, but I really think that adds to the effect. I hope Brandeis is ready for us come February.

So, twenty-four more days.
Well, really twenty-three because I leave early on the 16th.
