that comment really irked me, too- i had pretty much the same reaction. don't know where to take your kids? how about HOME, for starters. not to some over-hyped, over-processed corporate giant with more money than god and no real reason to care about your child's nutrition? if i could find that person, i'd pretty much just have to slap them upside the head. if you're SO concerned that your child might unwittingly be consuming wheat and milk products, TAKE THEM HOME AND FEED THEM YOURSELF so you're completely sure of what they're eating. *head explodes*
it terrifies me that parents (and the public in general) today seem to come pre-programmed to believe that there's a company or a product to fill every basic need for them, and that when the system breaks down or fails somehow, it's the company's fault for being insufficient. we've abdicated waaaay too much responsibility as a society, and seem to think we're never at fault for being just plain stupid.
feel free to rant away, btw. ;) i sure do.
