Things
Things are ok for now. On blood thinners forever per the specialist. My clotting is due to anti phospholipid syndrome. Basically my immune system is making my blood clot. Since it has been killing my thyroid for about six years now, this new auto immune disease is not surprising. I'm also being tested for lupus just in case since APS sometimes hangs out with lupus.
Paul graduates on the 22nd which is a relief. Grad school has been hard on all of us, especially Paul but still tough. Now we get to see all the lovely student loans come due. It will be worth it though, retail was killing him.
The kids are good. Nicky still doesn't sleep through the night. I gave up and he sleeps with me now once he wakes up the first time in his own bed. Sleep is lovely, though I look forward to him being old enough to bribe, coerce, or instruct into his own bed for a full night.
We are actively dieting again, hopefully with the stresses of grad school soon to be behind us, it will stick this time.
