Just thought you should know that I, Claire Kaplan, am in the possession of three, yet unopened, boxes of Girl Scout cookies. Mwahaha.

Hahaha - what flavours though? And, also, till when are you here? Will you still be in town when it comes time to commemorate my formal assumption of total majority (on the 10th of next month)? How's your schedule during the opcoming week? I'm hilariously broke, but maybe we can do tea or an early weekday lunch chez moi? I'd love to see you; also, heads up on post from the Garre de L'Est!

Update: the tagalongs have been opened and the Spaniard likes them as well. There still remains a virgin Thin Mints and Samoas, although the condition of their quality is uncertain as they were shipped and well, may have melted a bit.

I decided to do a Summer session so I'll be here til June 26th (or something like that). I'm actually looking for a room to rent for June so if you know anyone who is, please tell. Anyway, yes, I'm very free this upcoming week and tea at your place sounds lovely. I actually found out boys are allowed at my place so we'll have to do the reverse as well. Ciao!

Boys allowed at your place? How scandalously progressive; I wonder what swayed the ladies? Hm...I absolutely loathe thin mints, but the others sound exciting. Fun update as well: mother has apparently shipped some absurdly large box that was supposed to contain easter goodies, but upon different requests was theoretically filled with the hilarious reverse: matzoh ball soup, latkes, and other random, more passover-themed fun-uns [de gustibus non est disputandum]. I'll let you know when it gets here, I figure it's one of the few meals I can actually make which you can actually eat (what with your "eccentric" vegetarianism.) Exciting exciting about you staying till June - this means Towel Day celebrations, though we'll see how we arrange that (I have my history final on the following day). Anyway, lemme know which days are good for you, and we'll tea or lunch. Oh, and I'll keep an eye out as to rooms for rent - till when are you booked with the ladies ( ... )

Haha. Well, Chiara's "friend" i.e. possibly rekindled boyfriend came over to visit from Palma and was allowed to hang out, so I guess guests of the male gender are allowed in moderation. Scandalously progressive indeed. Cool beans about the packaged Jewish food. I'll have to make Matzo brai (sp?) for you. Anyway, long story short I've started a flat hunting search and doing so has stressed me out tremendously as it did last year (common symptoms include: poor sleep, low appetite, stomach cramps, overall inability to function) and so on. Details later. Well, since you have afternoon classes how about I bring over my Harrod's earl grey and samoas around 1:30 on either Tuesday or Thursday? I couldn't possibly ask you to cook as I'm sure you're as broke as a former Hollywood child star. I'll be with the senoras probably until the end of the month, although I can move in as early as May 14th ( ... )

Hahaha, well, come come, I'm not that broke - the credit cards are ever mighty useful. But in terms of ready cash, I think I have perhaps a total of 10 euro's lying about, until the next deposit is made. Ironically, though, this makes me capable of making large purchases, and utterly inept when it comes to doing things like buying the 80 cent baguette, hahahaha - ergo, we'll see...if not lunch, maybe I can make something tea-ish. Either day sounds good; I'll let you know morrow. Wow @ Chiara's lover / the scandalous progressiveness (I love that phrase) / Matzo brai (I did not know you cooked!) / Harrod's orgasmic Earl Grey (I still glow when I think of the packs my sister brought back after her British soujourn atleast a decade ago. Luck on house-hunting (I know, it's worse than the plague); meanwhile, I'm doing everything save reading the Franco books that I have to digest for the exams next month. Meh.
