I think I've seen some of Bon Voyage with you;
I had the same situation long ago for Everything Sex;
The City of God still is the DVD cover;
You finally saw Los Amantes, yay;
Elmer Fudd Joins the Priory should be a film.

- I don't think so, unless it was in a dream; as far as I know, we've only seen The Adventures of Baron Munchausen together. Well, that, and the gay cowboy movie. I did talk about it, at legnth, in a post right after I got back in December, I think between movie-night with Keri and Fridays night, so maybe that's it? Dunno... It was alot of fun at any rate; I'd be willing to watch it again.

- Ha. Our childhoods were awesome.

- 'Tis true. That scene has some of the most amazing shots of the film, though, what with the Brazilian mountains and beaches and whatnot.

- Yes, and I rewatched parts of it today; that movie is ridiculously amazing. I definitely hadn't seen it before, though my parents had; I want to marry you for recommending it, as I probably wouldn't have gone through such a serious continued effort to find it otherwise (I've been seeking it out for ages) and yes, it is basically my new favourite film. The same director made another film, Lucia y el Sexo, which was far more popular, but not nearly as good (in fact, it was ( ... )

Yay Collin. Did I meet Collin?

I meant we discussed it.

Nope, I'm fairly positive we didn't. Really, I think you may just be imagining it solely from this entry, if anything at all. Like, really, I don't know why we would have discussed it, and I'm fairly sure I would have remembered us doing so, unless it was a totally passing comment of the "Have you seen Bon Voyage?" / "Nope." variety.

Nope, as well, for Collin; he's a Virginian (and the source of my VT facebook account). You can, however, access his highly random and often times hilarious livejournal here. He writes sporadically. But yes, yay him.

In theory, yes, occurrence could be to plame.
The painter? Are you starting a salon, of the beaux-arts variety?
I shall look.
And yes, but all of god's children are blessed in his sight ;). No worries; John did just as badly as you did, and John's one of our favourite ponies, so that's saying something.

Salons rock, when they work. And by that, I mean enlightenment-style salons. I used to dream of having them; then I realized that I kind of liked having where I was living to myself, so I'm far more of a salon participant rather than a salon host. Madeleine is an excellent salong hostess; her bi-annual dinners always bring together some of the brightest minds around, and then a few idiots for everyone else to harp over. The closest thing we have to a regular salon in Miami is comprised not at steady households, but rather at impromptu, yet carefully organized dinners at Fridays. We all rather hate the food, which is overpriced and greasy, but tradition dictates that the liveliest discussions and biggest groups most comfortably gather there. The last one was fairly smashing.

Wow, I just pulled a you, in terms of random digression. Holden Caulfield's classmates would have a field day.

I say we continue the death convo next time we meet. Oh how I had a good time Saturday. Now I know what beer to order on St. Patrick's! Any more info on "Volver"? Did you get my postcard?

I was actually thinking about death on my way home, but I can't remember what precisely it was, except that it was some brilliant thought on the matter. Saturday; aye, awesome. Right, Volver; tickets are available at noon on the 21st - when I went to get tickets for the gay cowboy movie there was already an enormous line when I got there, an hour before the tickets began to be handed out, so I'll probably camp out there around 10:30. You're welcome to come along, and we can make a small festival out of it (I'm thinking coffee heavily spiked with Baileys as a nice way to start off the day?) The actual film will be screened on the 23rd, and Carmen Maura (amongst others) is coming, so I'm totally there.

{Nice legs!}

Dude, I would jump leaps and bounds to drink coffee and Baileys with you WHENEVER. But unfortunately I have class at 11-12:15. Boo. Could you pick me up a ticket and I could recompensate you with our soon-to-be picnic? Also, would you mind if I invited Chiara along as well? Haha, that icon is definitely my own legs. Yes.

Awww, you know that by me, I'd love to, but they suck in that they have a strict 1 person, 1 ticket policy (to stop people from getting there early and asking for 10 tickets each.) Dunno, see if you can finagle your way out of class just that once or something; I'd try to convince a classmate to stand in for you, but considering that I'm in afternoon class, my peers are way too dedicated night owls to show up that early, Carmen Maura or not...

Collin, I'm sure, appreciate your support; and you wondered why I would get so excited when he would sign on to aim the summer after Germany! A man with 11 facebook profiles can't be anything less than brilliant...

I'm pleasently surprised with coming in 3rd place, I dind't expect a score of less than half to be competative. I do enjoy these movie quizes, if I was better at putting pics in my LJ I would make one myself.

Yes, yes, well done! I'm glad you enjoyed - it's wildly easy to make, of course (just copying onto photobucket and pasting onto livejournal); nonetheless, I'll try to make it a more frequent thing, given how much you liked it. Again, bravo.
