Parc de l'Ouest - all of these pictures date to the first couple of days I spent in Madrid...
Not as often as I'd like, I go to Parc de l'Ouest and sit on the bench on the island and write until it's far too dark to do so.
Centro - all of these pictures date to the last few days I spent in Madrid...
These guys were great - presumably students from the north, playing the traditional gaitas (like bagpipes) of Galicia.
These gentlemen were also austoundinglystupendous: they played the entireity of Vivaldi's Four Seasons (I stayed for Spring & Summer, and on the way back I caught the end of Autumn and about half of Winter).
