...Santa Claus is coming to town!

Well, not yet, but I'm definitely getting in the spirit. I had some money set aside to start my Christmas shopping, and after this week, I'm sort of almost done! I know it's insane, but why not, right? If I find a good deal or stuff I like, it's not worth waiting for it. It will just be gone again. I still have to shop for my mom and dad, my grandfather, my Godfather, and a few others, but really I'm more than halfway done. It's great. I did manage to buy a couple things for myself during all this, but not much. I have been really good about not spending my money. Also, if I do find myself spending, it's cash, not credit cards. I had all of 2006 to be responsible (tm) and it's pretty much worked. More on what I'm going to be working on in 2007 later...it's a fun one.

I had a coupon for Yankee Candle, and you know I can't turn down a deal at Yankee Candle. How did I miss the fact that Jack Frost is such a fabu scent!? I have it burning now. Again, getting into the spirit a little early, but you know me. I love it!!

Tuesday is Halloween. I guess the teachers dress up. I really hate dressing up, but to be a good sport I bought ears and black face makeup to draw whiskers on myself. I'm not drawing the whiskers till I see what the other teachers show up with on Tuesday, but I'll wear the ears and my halloween shirt/jewelry at least. There are a couple Teacher Sweater people at my school. Please hit me if I am That Person when I'm 50, okay?

Fun day out with Jannelle yesterday. We did some aforementioned shopping, and then had lunch/dinner at On the Border. More shopping later, and I came home to correct papers. I came home at the time everyone was heading out for the night. Oh well, I still had a good weekend that wasn't completely consumed by school work.

Also, I LOVE not having to be at work until 4:00 on Sunday. I can sleep in (which I don't seem to know how to do, but the option is there...) get my work done, run errands, relax, etc. So far today I have cleaned my room, gone to the 'Bucks to read and get coffee, head to Target and the Hallmark store, watch a movie, and gotten some homework done. Really, I am productive.

Wow, I also managed to have time to write an LJ entry for the first time in two weeks. I'm going to continue with my productivity now, however. Peace out, ya'll!
