(no subject)
While there's something to be said about taking your birthday off from work, I always find it more enjoyable to be at work on your birthday. Case in point, mine.
I came in the office and there were about 8 people furiously decorating my desk with balloons and streamers. Then there was delicious cake with my name on it (spelled correctly) and lots of well wishers throughout the day (quite possibly looking for extra cake slices).
Shaun and I went to Il Mercato for supper and there was a cake waiting for me when I got home too! WHEE!!!
Oh yes, on a side note, it took the Halifax Metro Transit 5 hours to get me on the Bedford highway yesterday. On one hand I was glad not have to drive in those conditions, on the other hand I was stranded on the Bedford highway for 5 hours.
