BAM!!
That's right. I'm a Players Club Card Carrying Member.
And so is Liz :P
So Saturday was the BBQ cookout! After it was all over and done with, Sarah had the AWESOME idea to drive to Oklahoma to gamble at Winstar. An idea that no one thought she was serious about until a few of us were like, "yeah! Why the heck not??"
So Sarah, Idalia, Heath and I all pile into Heath's car- while Liz and her friend Jessie pile into Jessie's truck- and we all stop at a gas station to fill up and then head out on our midnight journey to the (great?) state of Oklahoma!
We all thought it was going to be an hour and 1/2 ride- but 30 minutes later we were there. *laughs* The place was HUGE. And there were a TON of people there. Liz, who had been there a few times before, explained how everything worked, and we were all soon filling out applications for our very own "Players Club" card!
I only had six dollars to gamble- which I managed to make grow and then lose. :D Sarah on the other hand won 40 dollars at the dollar machine- but then lost it when I told her to gamble again. She eventually lost it all :X Idalia shortly followed and Heath lost all his money as well.
All in all, a great night for the 4 of us!
Liz managed to win 30 dollars, and Jessie came out with nothing. What a splendid night indeed.
I just really like the card.
