Tonight we watched The Other Boleyn Girl, and I must say I am very displeased. It's very unfortunate because the cast was pretty amazing, Natalie Portman was great as Anne Boleyn, and Scarlett Johansen was great for Mary. However, whoever adapted the script from the novel should have HIS head chopped off, because it was NOTHING like the book. I think the only similarities were that both the girls slept with the king and had children with him and that Anne lost her head. Other than that the movie was a mixed up mismatched highly edited version of a fantastically written and highly emotion novel. The film did absolutely no justice for the book (except as I mentioned the cast is well worth the viewing of the film). Basically if you were intrigued, read the novel, it's ten times better than the movie and you will be fully satisfied.
Kathy Griffin starts tomorrow, and I am pretty stoked, ever though I probably will only get to see this one episode because I leave on Monday for Ohio. Which is an entirely different subject which I would rather not think about right now, because it is slightly alarming and scary.
