I think that's the general concensus, in the critics' world and the animation world, but everybody seems really weirded out that the adults speak in thick Scottish brogues, and the kids have these American twangs. But that totally works for me, because a. it cements the generational divide, and b. that's my life, right there. One of my favorite parts of the movie is when Hiccup does an impression of his dad, because my brother does that all the time, and there is nothing funnier than a dumb American kid pretending to be his undoubtedly Scottish father. :D
