Polka dot fishnets!

We were going to take the train to Largs (where the vikings invaded!), but the 2 people I was going with couldn't make it, so instead (since I was up anyway) I headed into the city center to shop, because apparently that's all I can do with my time now. Not that I'm complaining.

Except it was 9 in the morning, so everything was closed. Until 11. So I waffled around, got some coffee hot chocolate, and pondered life for 2 hours, which was fun. Things opened, as they do, and I got the pair of earrings I've been eyeing, dark green sparkly eyeshadow (HEE!), 3 long sleeve shirts for 2 pounds each, and an unfortunately expensive slip from an old lady store (M&S, for those who're curious).

I held off on a pair of tights that I really like, but they're dancing around my head. Like they do. They're fishnets (I need some because I looooosssst mine :[ ) but they've also got a polka dot pattern, which is super weird, because I drew this

So now I'm watching Yuu Yuu Hakusho, and does anyone remember when English dubs were actually good? Aaaand I'm shipping Keiko/Yuusuke as much as I used to, and have watched this part too many times.

Now for your reccommended dose of Snatches of Scotland!

Walking up the road today, and an old man (I could barely hear him) asked if I could go across the road and buy him 2 big bottles of Irn Bru, which, for those not in the know, is basically the national drink of Scotland, and tastes like, in the words of Amanda, "orange flavored cotton candy win." Which is fairly accurate. I felt bad for the poor guy, couldn't even get across the road, so I helped out. It felt kind of awkward, but also good.

AND there were kids hanging out outside my halls, and as we passed then they started singing some song about zombies, "I only want to eat your brains" or some such silly thing. Guitar accompaniment and all. They sounded pretty good.

I should probably think about these posts before I post them, so that they don't just sound like standard Rhona!rambling, but that seems like it would be too much work. :]
