Our eyes lock together,
and you gaze so strongly in to mine.
There is nowhere for me to hide.
I used to be drowning slowly,
lost in thoughts of you.
Now that I have seen what you see in me,
it seems I’m able to float.
Amongst the waves you set out for me,
for you are the sea, upon which I flow.
