Help!
Hey guys (in general, but for the purposes of this note, specifically those of the male gender on my friends list)
I am currently in the process of moving somewhat suddenly from Irving to North Dallas. I am doing fine getting the stuff from my Old Mill apartment into the new apartment, but I also have to get my furniture into the new place after I drive it up from my parents' place in Austin. This is where the begging for a favor comes in. I need manpower (as my mom says, "brute force") to help get the furniture from the moving truck (we're renting a U-Haul) up to my apartment (which, cursedly, is on the third floor). I don't have a lot of furniture (a bed, a loveseat, potentially a desk, some bookshelves, and a couple of end tables), but its more than I can do by myself.
SO, if you are going to be in Dallas next Sunday, June 29, and do not have plans for that afternoon, AND are a kind guy willing to help a girl out, please comment or send me a message/email and I'll get you details on time and location.
Please note that I will be providing drinks (water and possibly soda, budget depending) as well as footing the bill for dinner after we're done moving stuff. Also, there's a strong possibility of some sort of housewarming gathering once I get settled and I will at that time provide food and alcohol.
And if you can't help move furniture but you're willing to help pack/unpack, shot me a message as well.
