I've watched Marie Antoinette a couple of days ago. I knew it was impossible for me to have nothing to talk about XD! So it wasn't what I was expecting at all. I knew the background story of Marie Antoinette before watching the movie, so I thought there would alot of action, but it wasn't the case.
She doesn't even die in the movie! Come on guys, this is what MA is all about LOL! Well the film is just relating her life as the Dauphine of France, in France obviously. She has one birthday party, she goes to another party, the people hate her (for the bad reasons lol) then she goes away, end of the movie .__.
At first she is cool because she acts like she really is. You know she left her country around 15 so yeah, she was kinda childish. But after she just becomes a plain Queen of France like all the others and she does nothing more. She doesn't even care about politic and such so she is plain boring.
and so the movie is. At least, the actors are good and so are the makeup / clothes :DD! I bought it exactly for that so I'm not disappointed even if the movie sucks LOL! Anyways, it's a very simple movie and you can learn alot on MA or anything that was going on during that period of time.
Sans plus~ You chose if you wanna watch it or not, I would say don't spend for that but if, like me, you are kinda interested and you find it at 5$ well, go for it.
