Baby, baby, you've got it bad.

This week has been so utterly draining that I leave work every day feeling like I've been beaten with bundles of wet sticks. I know in Russia that's considered just another day at the sauna, but there's nothing relaxing about being this exhausted and body-weary. On top of everything, I can't seem to sleep once I'm home. I wanted to up the ante at the gym this week, but even making dinner seems like a hastle lately. Bring on the frozen/boxed/takeaway/cheese-sandwich dinners.

Supernatural returned to it's default "Samsel in distress" plot-line this week, which, I won't lie - sort of rocks my world, minus of course, the scenes where a white-hot melon-baller comes dangerously close to scooping out Sam's hot, naked eyeball from his pretty, albeit masculine head. Also, SPN continues the tradition with Bela that they started with Hendrickson of killing people off once they are redeemed.

It's raining here, so everyone is in a sort of dull, stay-at-home-in-your-pajamas mood, coupled with the fact that its Friday so pretty much NO ONE wants to be here. Elena and a friend of hers are stopping by after work to watch movies and consume alcohol and my room looks like a scene from the disaster in Myanmar (minus the dead bodies).

I took the last week of May off to go visit my dad in Ohio and despite their right-wing, religious leanings, I'm sort of looking forward to it. Mostly to the pool, but still.

I am thinking of staying in New Jersey a while longer, if only to fuel my electronics obsession - I want a new Macbook and I'm also dying to get the Canon Rebel EOS Xsi (with 12.2 mp). I really want to get somewhat serious about taking pictures, but I need some subjects in my portfolio that are not my cats or breakfast. Anyone willing to sit/pose for me?
