(no subject)
i took becka to the airport today so she could fly back to pittsburgh. it was the crappiest goodbye ever. supremely inadequate.
but, we had a terrific time together the past 9 days. last saturday we went down to the beach with my entire family (sans my brother and one uncle) and got tans, did crosswords, walked along the beach a lot, ate way too much food, made out, saw pirates 2, swam in the ocean (when jellyfish weren't everywhere), shopped, had a bon fire on the beach complete with marshmallows, watched movies, and just enjoyed being with each other.
i miss her already.
plus, on friday joe skom, brad goodman, this guy eggster, and dan bill-a-dew came over and suprised me. they were at brad's parents' place and so that night we hung out with them and while the rest of my family went home early on saturday, becka and i got an extra day at the beach by hanging out with them.
so today i've just been catching up on all the things at home. reading the wall street journals of the past week, gluing pieces of paper together, going to the library, watching robin hood... you know, the usual.
and tomorrow i gotta go back to work. sigh. but only for 17 more days and it's only 24 days till i go back to pittsburgh! horray!
