the nomadic museum exhibit on chelsea pier in the city is amazing. pretty indescribable actually. big pictures of people and animals and an hour film sort of narrating them. the most incredible thing ive seen in a long time. maybe the most beautiful thing ive seen ever.
theres video and pictures of the guy who made it all swimming around in this beautiful water dancing with whales and the rest was filmed with monks and trance dancers all over india and africa and some islands out there. and these beautiful children monks and beautiful women dancing with elephants and cranes and this hawk and lying in the water and kids in africa with cheetahs dancing around the desert with all the sand blowing.
the guy who made it didnt speak for a year cause he was living with monks and the dancers and people who didnt speak and it was just so perfect.
it was just like a dream. it just depicted paradise, and people actually live like that. thats pretty amazing.
its there until june 6th, which is soon.
i highly suggest going in to see it. its 6 bucks for a student and its worth it.
