After a lead up throughout the month of various things needed if heading into cold weather, a scarf, gloves, a sweater and socks, Leonard's Christmas present really shouldn't come as much of a surprise to him, but Gabriel still hopes that he'll appreciate it.
He knows very well that the other man doesn't particularly like the cold, but it's not as though he plans on dragging him out all that much anyway. It was simply the nearest planet they could take shore leave on, and he jumped on it. Besides, there was something romantic about it, in his mind; snuggling by the fireplace and all.
Of course there's a note, too, there always is.
And there's of course another little present for him, something that he knows won't be used super often, but he still thought was nice. The blues a subtle reminder of his position, for even when he's not in uniform.
