Fred knew that Buffy was right - if they didn't get washed up, they were liable to be in there all day, and not only would they both starve, they'd also end up very pruny. So she helped her finish getting cleaned up and took the towel Buffy handed her once the water was off. It was nice to have someone there with her, even if part of her wanted to just drag her back to bed and not go anywhere.
As Fred dried herself off, scrubbing the towel over her hair, she smiled as Buffy started talking about what they could do that day. She was thinking about how nice it would be to spend all that time with her, especially the cuddling part, when Buffy suddenly trailed off.
"Oh, Buffy, no..." she said, dropping the towel and moving over to her, running her hand over her shoulders and down her arms. "I...I would love to have you here as often as you want to be here. Last night was the best night I've had since I moved here. Since I moved to California from Texas for that matter. It felt so nice to be with you, to have you here...and to wake up with you. It can get lonely having this whole apartment to myself sometimes."
Leaning forward, she kissed her, gently a first, then more deeply, before moving back. "I want to do all those things you mentioned. And if you want to stay here, I want you to stay here. I know you've said it can feel a bit cramped with your mother and sister in your own house, so...consider my home your home away from home, okay?"
She reached down and took her hand. "Come on. Let's find you something to wear." She led her to her closet and opened it up, looking in and then over at Buffy. "Um...anything in particular you want to wear? Why don't I just let you choose," she told her before pulling out a pair of shorts and a top for herself and stepping back to give Buffy some room.
