Life is good... for the most part
Like my subject line says.. for the most part right now life is pretty good. I spent the day yesterday with my mom at the beach and got a wicked sunburn, but the water was pretty nice. A bit rough though, it was kicking my ass all over town. Then I went to Target with my mom after the beach and got all kinds of goodies. An excellent pair of slippers, a cool Coca Cola wall clock for only 2.50, and other misc. items. Later that night the 'rents and I went out to Olive Garden. For the most part it was good. The waiter screwed up my parents orders and what I ordered was gross. That's what I get for straying from the norm. Try something new you all say.. well I say piss off.
Work today was pretty ok... well ok it was great. I got some good news when I first came in so I was in high spirits. A mid-management position opened up in my club. Receiving and Inventory Control. So the very first thing I did when I got to work was put in a job bid. So everyone cross their fingers for me!
However, I have a problem. I have to tell someone something and I don't know how to do it with hurting them. Because in the long run just ignoring the issue will not solve my problem. I just don't know what the hell to do about it. Things just didn't work out the way I planned. Nothing I can do about it at all. You all know me as being very non-confrontational so this is a very hard thing for me to do. Basically it breaks down to this, I don't know what to do.
So anyway, that's life in a nutshell right now. I did omit some things but I'll clue people in to that stuff at a later date and time.
