Last night was interesting. I was freaked out and pissed off about my friend puking everywhere, but it turned out to be alright. He learned his lesson, and he was cool enough to clean up most of the mess on his own. Yep, so if any of you even give a shit and see this in time, the party is back on for tonight.
The real reason I felt like posting tonight however is the strange phone call I got this morning. I was sitting at the computer when my mom calls me and tells me she got a photo-radar speeding ticket, for the subaru, the subaru that we sold last august. Talk about a wtf mate moment. My mom said the ticket had a picture of the car with the hippy lady we sold it to driving it, so my guess is she never sent in the title. I called the dmv and they said there's a flag on the vehicle's title indicating that we sold it, but we're the last recorded owners on the vehicle's history. So does this mean the car is still ours? I distinctly remember my parents signing off on the title and giving it to the hippy lady, but if she lost it, can we apply for a lost title and take the car back? If the dmv still thinks it's our car, can we call it in as stolen? This could be interesting.
You know, I tried to sell that thing several times and had no luck, and I was beginning to get the feeling I would never get rid of it. When I finally got a reasonable offer and made the sale, I had this strange feeling like that wasn't the last I'd ever see of the car. Looks like my suspicions were correct. What was I thinking selling a subaru to a hippy anyways? That's just asking for trouble.
