i love colorado
i love colorado. and i dont think it's all about the location/weather/scenary/etc.. it's the people. like chris has some really awesome friends..
we're staying at his friends' place - mike & rusty. mike and his g/f are really into the whole organic/yoga life - so they recycle everything, and have a whole yoga room set up. rusty's one of chris' best friends. and he's just real awesome.. he's been a wonderful host. chris and i are enjoying ourselves a lot.
we woke up this morning - chris woke me up this morning rather, at 6:30am.. we went had breakfast just the two of us, then came back and took a nap.. when i woke up from my nap, my back didnt hurt - first time in forever. im not sure if there's something different in the air here, or if i can really relax being on vacation and not caring about anything. we've been running around all day trying to get everything together for camping. it's been crazy insane. but we leave tomorrow and we're hoping to get there by noon to set up shop.
right now im baking cookies. im on my fourth batch...well, i made two double batches. everyone here keeps eating them though, so i dont know.lol nah, but there's ggoing to be TONS of cookies for me to hand out !! :D chris and the boys are out at a friends..then going to the bar for a few drinks. maria (erich's g/f) just called me.. she's nice.. i met her last time i was here and we hung out. like the only two girls of the bunch..she really wants us to move out here, which im sure we will..but we just need some time.
rusty made a badass mask.. chris has a fun mask 'n costume.. im gonna try 'n put something together.lol i bought another pair of my boots. my other ones are like 7 yrs old..and falling apart. plus, ill be able to dance a lot more freely in them
honestly, i have no idea what to expect at this apogaea event -- *yawns* BUT i do know im tired <3
