I need to stop listening to musical soundtracks.
So I saw RENT, in the movie theatre, and I understand now why everyone and their sister told me that it was so great. It was pretty damn good, and apparently, the play is better.
There are a MILLION movies coming out that I want to see. Brokeback Mountain, Casanova, The New World, so many that I can't even remember them all. I suppose I'll be spending most of my Christmas (Holiday?) break at the cinemas, which is fine with me. I did nothing during Thanksgiving, so even seeing a bunch of movies would be better. Sasha and I have a Plan, which is to go down to NYC for a day and see actual RENT on Broadway so that I can compare the film and the play. I wonder whether having a different cast will annoy me.
And...I am feeling a distinct "I have no clue what to do tomorrow" feeling. When am I supposed to buy my textbooks? Where is my schedule? What will happen when I have to take a swim test for PE? Thank GOD I bought a bathing suit last summer. But I DON'T want to wear it in front of whoever I'll be taking the swim test with.
Not to mention that there was lovely snow on the ground for most of break and last night it rained and most of the snow melted and it's all gross and foggy. I am going over to Spencer's house for lunch today because campus SUCKS when no one is around.
