Merope

Um, if anyone besides me was wondering what Greek story the name 'Merope' appears, she's the queen of Corinth who raises Oedipus when he is found in the mountains. She is the mother Oedipus thinks he is protecting (he doesn't want to kill his foster-father and marry is foster-mother) by leaving for Thebes.

I finished a bitch of first draft for an analytical essay on Sophocles' Antigone. Good. God. And I've managed to finish all my Algebra homework for tonight so that I can go to rehearsal and not worry too much about what does and doesn't get done.

Last night, we had a power outage, just Crossley, and it was really obnoxious. Electricity at NMH=not what it should be.

homework, school, greek myths
